Purpose of the position

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will act as a start-up technician for our equipment, including the rotary press. As an employee on the road, you will be required to travel throughout the United States. You will contribute to the implementation of our in-house products at our various customers’ sites.

What to expect

  • Participate in start-up projects for municipal and industrial customers in order to start up dewatering equipment: make connections, carry out tests, put equipment into operation and take samples.
  • Propose and participate in the implementation of solutions to optimize the performance of systems.
  • Conduct technical presentations and provide technical information to plant personnel and engineers.
  • Conduct laboratory analyses of collected samples to qualify biosolids for dewatering.
  • Conduct detailed reports and reports.
  • Carry out the start-up of the equipment, while training and answering the customer’s questions.
  • Provide technical assistance for sample follow-up.
  • Perform all other related tasks as required by organization.

You possess

  • Studies in water remediation, mineralogy, hydrogeology, civil, applied sciences or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar job (an asset).
  • Excellent manual and mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge of the Windows environment (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Possess communication skills and be comfortable in customer service.
  • Bilingual, to be able to communicate easily with our English-speaking clients.
  • Be able and motivated to travel throughout the United States.
  • Excellent priority management, ability to work under pressure and strong sense of resourcefulness.
  • Be proactive and oriented towards customer service and satisfaction.
