Purpose of the position

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Bidding, while closely collaborating with the bidding and project management team, the incumbent of this position is primarily responsible for providing estimates to our clients in the mining and industrial sectors based on the plans and specifications received.

What awaits you

Determine the elements required for projects such as the type of equipment, coating surfaces, weld lengths, and others using computer-aided design software;
Read and analyze clients’ plans and specifications;
Analyze feasibility and assess project costs;
Request prices from buyers and suppliers;
Produce explanatory drawings for price requests;
Participate in the improvement of the estimation process;
Perform any other related tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the bidding department and the achievement of company objectives.

You have

DEC or BAC in Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant training in a technical field;
3 years of experience in estimation in the manufacturing industry;
Proficiency in common computer tools and Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
Good knowledge of computer-aided design software (AutoCAD and SolidWorks);
Functional English to communicate and respond to our clients’ inquiries;
Methodical and structured approach;
Autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail;
Ability to effectively manage priorities;
Strong learning ability and developed analytical sense.
