Health, safety, and environmental policy
The Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policy of Fournier aims to ensure at all times a healthy and safe working environment for our employees, as well as for all visitors, suppliers, clients, and partners, meeting applicable environmental requirements. We conduct all our activities in a manner that protects the health and safety of employees and minimizes our impact on the environment.
As a responsible company, we commit to the following:
- To determine and annually review our HSE strategic plan, including performance objectives and a prevention program aimed at preventing and eliminating hazards for all employees, and if necessary, apply corrective measures required.
- To communicate and promote this policy among employees and other stakeholders to raise awareness regarding their obligations concerning health, safety, and the environment, and most importantly, ensure their daily commitment to it.
- To strive for excellence by operating our facilities in compliance with or exceeding regulations and rigorously applying rules, procedures, and work methods regarding health, safety, and the environment.
- To provide training to our employees to ensure that each one possesses the knowledge and skills necessary for the safe execution of their work and has access to the information, tools, protective equipment, and supervision required.
- To regularly monitor our manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities to identify potential sources of negative impacts on safety, health, or the environment.
- To minimize our environmental footprint by implementing good practices in procurement, waste reduction, reuse, recycling, and optimal use of resources (water, electricity, etc.).
- To ensure that the equipment we manufacture and distribute meets our clients’ requirements regarding health, safety, and the environment.
- To promptly make the necessary corrections to address or rectify situations and practice that are not in compliance with this policy.
